Wick: Bible & Quiet Time — Support
Wick was called Lamp until October 2026. Only the name changed: your PIN, notes and progress stay as they are.
Wick: Bible & Quiet Time is a quiet, private place to grow with Jesus, one small step a day. It works fully offline, with no account. It is published by Cornerstone Global LLC.

Common questions
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No. The Bible, daily verses and lessons are all on your phone. No account or sign-in is needed, and the app works with no connection.
I forgot my PIN.
If you turned on Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint unlock, use it to open the app, then tap the gear on the Today screen and choose Change PIN. Nothing is lost.
If you didn’t turn it on, tap Forgot PIN? on the lock screen. You can erase the app’s data and start over with a new PIN. We cannot see or recover your PIN or your progress, because they are stored only on your phone.
How do I change my PIN or turn Face ID on or off?
On the Today screen, tap the gear to open Settings.
How do I lock the app quickly?
Tap Lock at the top of the screen. The app also locks itself whenever you switch to another app.
What is the lamp?
Your lamp lights each day you finish a quiet time or a Grow step. If you miss a day, a grace day keeps your streak going. You get 2 grace days each month.
How do the lessons work?
The Grow tab has short lessons that open one a day: who Jesus is, how to pray, who God is, and every book of the Bible. You can go back over any step you’ve finished.
Which Bible versions are included?
The Berean Standard Bible (BSB) and the King James Version (KJV). In the Bible tab, tap the version name to switch.
Can I see the tour again?
Yes. Open Settings from the gear on the Today screen and tap Replay the tour.
Can the app read aloud?
Yes. Tap the speaker in the Bible, or Listen in the quiet time and lessons. It uses your phone’s own voice and works offline. Use earphones if others might hear.
How do I write a note on a verse?
In the Bible tab, tap a verse and type in My note. Notes are private and encrypted, and they’re listed at the bottom of the Jar tab.
How do I join a live gathering?
Open the Gather tab (version 1.1 and later). When a gathering is live, tap Join, agree to the community rules the first time, and pick a nickname. You join muted; tap Unmute to speak. Nothing is recorded. Tap anyone to block or report them.
How do I become a leader?
Leaders are added by Cornerstone Global. If you’ve been added, open Settings and tap Sign in as a leader, then enter the code we email you. You only do this once on each phone.
Can I get a daily reminder?
Yes, in Settings. It’s off unless you turn it on. The plain reminder never mentions faith; you can instead choose to see that day’s verse, which will show on your lock screen. Your phone shows the app’s name with either, so leave it off if someone might see your lock screen.
Will my progress move to a new phone?
No. For your safety, your data is encrypted with a key that never leaves your phone and isn’t included in backups. On a new phone you start fresh.
What happens if I delete the app?
Your progress, saved verses and settings are erased with it.
Privacy
Your reading, notes and progress never leave your phone. Only the optional live gatherings use the internet, and nothing in them is recorded. Read the full privacy policy and terms.
